Content policy

Sharecopypaste is for sharing text and small media. Some things are not welcome here. Our full list is in the Acceptable Use Policy; the highlights are below.

Not allowed

• Illegal content under applicable law.
• Sexual content involving minors. Zero tolerance.
• Doxxing or sharing private information about real people.
• Credentials, API keys, or other secrets that are not yours.
• Targeted harassment, slurs, or threats.
• Spam, mass phishing, or coordinated abuse.
• Malware payloads or instructions for committing real-world harm.

Enforcement

We scan every uploaded image and video against the NCMEC and partner CSAM hash sets via Microsoft PhotoDNA and Thorn Safer in addition to AI moderation. Apparent CSAM is removed immediately, the file is preserved in a restricted store, the uploader is banned, and a CyberTipline report is filed with NCMEC as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A — see the law enforcement guidelines for details.

We may also scan pastes and other media using automated tools and human review. Every paste page has a Report button; three reports within an hour and the paste is auto-hidden pending human review. Confirmed violations result in removal and, for serious or repeat offenses, an account ban. If you believe an action was a mistake you can appeal. Copyright concerns go through DMCA.
