Email support@sharecopypaste.com. Include the link to the paste or capture if your question is about a specific share, and the browser / OS you're using. We try to reply within two business days.
Sign-in trouble
- Sign-in links are sent by email and expire after 15 minutes. If yours has expired, request a new one from the sign-in page.
- Check your spam / promotions folder. Allowlist
noreply@sharecopypaste.comif your provider is aggressive. - Open the link in the same browser you requested it from — links are tied to the device that asked for them.
- Still stuck? Email us from the address you tried to sign in with and we'll sort it out.
Capture & recording
- The browser extension needs permission to capture the active tab. The first time you use it, your browser will ask — click Allow.
- For full-page screenshots, the page has to finish loading before you start the capture. Lazy-loaded images may need a quick scroll first.
- Screen and window recording uses your operating system's screen sharing dialog. On macOS you may need to grant the browser access in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording.
- If a share fails to upload, the extension downloads a local fallback file so you don't lose the capture. Try the share again from the downloaded file.
Common questions
- How long do pastes last?
- You pick the expiration when you share. Burn-after-read pastes disappear the first time they're opened. Anonymous pastes have shorter maximum lifetimes than signed-in ones.
- Can I delete a paste early?
- Yes. Sign in with the account that created the paste and use the delete action on the paste page. Anonymous pastes can only be deleted by waiting for them to expire.
- Is my paste private?
- Pastes are unlisted by default and aren't indexed by search engines. They show up on the public feed only if you opt in.
- How do I report abuse?
- Use the Report button on the paste page, or email support@sharecopypaste.com with the link.
